​EXPOSITORY ESSAY WRITING



My students frequently use the expository writing format to demonstrate their understanding of topics we have studied.  Often, we use this writing format as a way conclude a major topic of study so that the students are challenged to explain the key ideas to another reader at their grade level.  See my discussion of expository essay writing for more detail; it is near the bottom of the page.  Below are a few examples.
